Time Zones
ALS-Lange-1-TimeZone-2.webp
Time zones are regions of the Earth that have different local times due to their longitude relative to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Watches having functions like GMT or world-timers enable someone to know the time in more than one zone. GMT watches have a second hour hand or a rotating 24-hour bezel, allowing the owner to monitor two time zones.

World-timers, by contrast, indicate local time in key cities throughout the globe with a rotating ring or by using subdials. Such capabilities are particularly valuable for businessmen, pilots, and more-frequent travelers across the globe. Out of functionality, though, time zone exhibit wristwatches signify interdependence in this world and new-age practicality.
